Because 6 th grade is no longer the highest level of learning at Excell Academy, it is left with kindergarten to conduct a formal graduation ceremony – at least for now. As tradition would have it, it had been a two-way graduation at the end of the school year between 6 th grade and kindergarten before the school's grade level was elevated to seven beginning the 2008-2009 school year. While Excell Academy is working its way into further growth (starting K-8 in 2009), it is apparent that kindergarten graduation shall reign as the sole graduation exercises until another significant change occurs.
