Eagles Basketball - Two Convincing Wins!

It was Thursday, February 17, 2011, and it was game day. It was Excell Academy 7/8th grade girls and boys versus their counterparts at WISE Charter School. Families and friends showed up and lined up to see a piece of the action for themselves. The warm-ups began; the girls first. The coaches executed their piece - pass on strategic advice to their teams. Then the action began at 5:00 sharp. By the end of the first game, it was clear the lady Eagles had proven to continue their undefeated season with a convincing win over WISE charter school.

The girls have won all five of their games by at least 20 points each!!! The 7/8^th grade boys finished their season on a winning note with an impressive performance against WISE as well. Although shorthanded, the Eagles persevered with a total team effort, pushing their season record to 5-2. The 5/6^th grade Eagles continue their season this Thursday with a home game against CCLA. They look to finish the season strong with their final two games at home. Games will start at 4:45 on Thursday, February 24^th and Monday, February 28^th. Come support your Eagles!
